Homemade Pea Purée

Who doesn’t like a mushy pea? These are light and fresh and the perfect accompaniment for any fish.

Ingredients

  • 500 gr frozen peas
  • Salt
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • ½ cup crème fraiche

Instructions

  • Cook the peas in salted water for around 3 minutes.

  • Place into a blender with the crème fraiche and half a teaspoon salt and blitz until smooth.

  • Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon and blitz again then serve.

  • If you want a smooth puree, once blended pass through a sieve.
