Chocolate Banana Pancakes

These pancakes are a hit every time, especially with kids! The chocolate and banana combo makes them irresistible, and the addition of crunchy pecans adds the perfect texture. A must-try for any lazy weekend morning or post-game breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped bananas
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp Nielsen Massey Pure Vanilla Extract
  • cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • cup chopped pecans
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

  • Mix dry ingredients in a bowl, wet ingredients in another.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in banana, chocolate chips, and pecans.
  • Cook pancakes on a greased skillet until bubbles appear, flip, and cook until golden.
  • Serve with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and extra toppings.

  • You can substitute the bananas with berries for a different twist.
