Eyeball Cake Pops

Creepy, cute, and so easy to make! These eyeball cake pops are the ultimate Halloween party treat - fun for kids, no-bake, and totally delicious.

Ingredients

  • 4 large frosted cupcakes any flavor you choose
  • 1 bag of white candy melts
  • Red gel for decorating
  • Eye cake decorations or disc-shaped candy for the eyes
  • Chocolate frosting if using candy discs for the eyes

Instructions

  • Crumble the cupcakes into a bowl and mash together with your hands. Place in the freezer for fifteen minutes to firm slightly.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and roll 1-inch sized balls with the crumbled cakes, ensuring they’re compacted well.
  • Lay onto the baking sheet and insert a lollipop stick into the center of each one. Pop back into the freezer for ten minutes to chill.

  • Melt the candy melts in the microwave. Dip each cake pop into the melted candy and allow any excess to drip off before setting back onto the baking sheet.
  • Once set, use a little more of the candy melt to stick the candy disc or eye to the front of each cake pop. Use the red gel to make bloodshot eyes.

  • If using candy discs for the eyes, use the chocolate frosting to pipe the pupil in the center of each eye.

  • Allow to set, then serve.
