Glazed Apple Tart
This Glazed Apple Tart combines sweet Honeycrisp apples, flaky puff pastry, and a glossy apricot glaze for an elegant, easy dessert that’s perfect for fall.

Ingredients

large sheet frozen puff pastry
thawed at room temperature

granulated sugar

cold butter
cut into small cubes (45g)

large Honeycrisp apples
cored and very thinly sliced

tablespoons
apricot preserves

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350ºF / 180ºC degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Lay the thawed puff pastry sheet onto the parchment paper.
Lay the apple slices in diagonal rows across the pastry covering the dough completely.
Sprinkle the sugar across the top of the apple slices then drop the butter cubes evenly across the top.
Bake in the oven until browned and puffed up which can take anywhere between 30–40 minutes so keep your eye on it.
Place the apricot preserves into a jug and heat until warm and runny. Add a splash of water if required.
Brush over the tart whilst still warm to give it a lovely shiny glaze.
Serve warm or cold.
