In a bowl, stir together the flour, salt and pepper.
In a separate bowl, mix together the eggs and water.
In a third bowl, mix together the panko bread crumbs and seasoned salt.
Take each mozzarella stick and dip it into the egg, then the flour mixture, back into the egg and finally into the breadcrumbs.
Repeat until all mozzarella sticks have been coated in the breadcrumbs setting each one aside on a tray until completed.
Place the tray in the freezer for one hour to firm the mozzarella sticks.
Heat the oil over a medium heat and add in only enough mozzarella sticks so that the pan is not crowded as otherwise they will not cook evenly and the temperature of the oil will lower.
Cook until golden brown on both sides (around three minutes) then remove and drain on kitchen paper.
Repeat until all cheese sticks are cooked.
Serve with warm marinara sauce on the side and a sprinkling of grated parmesan cheese.
