Fresh White Sangria
Make it ahead, serve it cold, and let the fruit soak up all that gorgeous flavor.
Equipment
- large pitcher
- Long spoon or stirrer
- Knife
- Glasses for serving
Ingredients
- 750 ml bottle of Chablis white wine
- 2 oz brandy
- 1.5 cups cold sparkling water
- 1 lemon sliced
- 1 cup fresh strawberries sliced
- 1 medium pear sliced
- 1 medium peach sliced
- ¼ cup sugar
Instructions
- In a pitcher stir together the wine, sugar and brandy until the sugar has dissolved.
- Add in the sliced lemons, strawberries, peaches and pears and stir to separate.
- Chill for at least two hours to allow the fruit to permeate into and flavor the wine and brandy.
- Just before serving, add the club soda and stir.
- Serve over ice.
