There are dessert sauces—and then there's this sauce. I’m not even kidding when I say you’ll want to pour this on everything. Rich, glossy fudge with melted marshmallows for that creamy, slightly chewy finish? Heaven in a jar. Keep it in the fridge and reheat for instant indulgence—on ice cream, pancakes, brownies, or fruit.

Oh my goodness, this sauce is so good you will want to drink it, dip in it, pour it, drizzle it…….

Hot Fudge and Marshmallow Sauce

Rich and glossy hot fudge sauce with melted marshmallows—perfect for drizzling over ice cream, brownies, or pancakes.
Servings 3 people
Total Time 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 30 jumbo marshmallows
  • 2/3 cup whole milk 160ml
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips 340g
  • teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup softened butter 60g
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Place the marshmallows, milk, butter and salt into a saucepan and heat over a low heat until melted, stirring regularly.
  • Add in the chocolate chips and vanilla extract and continue to cook whilst stirring until the chocolate has melted and you have a super smooth and glossy sauce.
  • Serve whilst warm.

  • This can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Notes

  • Be cautious when adding the butter— it will bubble up!
  • You can store it for up to two weeks, but it never lasts that long in our house.
  • This sauce is also perfect for dipping churros or doughnuts.
