Meringue Bones

21
Spooky Sweet

These are so fun and easy to make but they both look fabulous and taste amazing. Who knew we would all be fighting for the bones on the buffet table!!

Sometimes the simplest recipes steal the show, and these Meringue Bones do exactly that. They are airy, crisp, and perfectly eerie, making them the ideal Halloween treat that is both fun to make and a total crowd-pleaser. Kids and adults alike cannot resist these sugary “bones,” especially when they are sandwiched together with a little Nutella or raspberry jam for that delightfully gory finish.

The secret is in whipping the egg whites until they are glossy and stiff, which gives you that signature crunch that melts in your mouth. The gentle baking creates a light-as-air texture, and when paired with that sweet filling, each bite is a playful nod to spooky season indulgence.

Arrange them on a platter, add a drizzle of “blood” using raspberry jam for effect, and watch your guests fight over who gets the last bone.
