Five Spice Beef Skewers
Quick and delicious Five Spice Beef Skewers with a refreshing mint lime yoghurt dip. Perfect finger food for a fast, flavorful meal with seasonal flavors.

Ingredients
- 1 lb beef flank steak or beef sirloin steak 450g
- 1½ teaspoons five spice powder
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 limes
- 6 oz plain Greek yoghurt 170g
- 1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves chopped
Instructions
- Soak wooden skewers in cold water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- Slice the steak thinly against the grain. Place it in a bowl with the soy sauce and five spice powder. Toss to coat evenly. Cover and chill for 10 minutes.
- Thread the marinated beef onto the skewers. Cook on a grill or in a skillet covered, about 6 minutes total, turning to char all sides.
- While the beef cooks, mix the Greek yoghurt with the zest and juice of one lime and the chopped fresh mint to make the dip.
- Serve the skewers on a platter with the lime-mint yoghurt dip and lime wedges on the side.
