Takeaway in Ten

Six ingredients. Ten minutes. And the best beef and broccoli you’ll ever taste. Who’s hungry?

There are evenings when the clock feels like it’s racing ahead of you, and the last thing you want is to spend hours in the kitchen. That’s where this Six Ingredients and Ten Minutes Beef and Broccoli comes to the rescue. With just a handful of pantry staples and a short cooking time, you can have something truly delicious on the table in minutes. It’s proof that weeknight meals don’t need to be complicated to be satisfying.

The beauty of this dish lies in its simplicity. Tender slices of flank steak cook quickly in sesame oil, soaking up the rich, nutty aroma, while broccoli adds that fresh, vibrant crunch. The real star here is the sauce: a mix of oyster sauce and soy sauce that clings to every noodle and vegetable, ensuring that every forkful delivers a perfect balance of savory flavor. It feels indulgent, but in reality, it’s incredibly fuss-free.

Another reason I love this Six Ingredients and Ten Minutes Beef and Broccoli recipe is how versatile it is. You can swap in other vegetables – think bell peppers, peas, or even mushrooms – for a little variety. And while I serve mine with chow mein noodles to keep it a true ten-minute meal, you could certainly enjoy it with rice if you prefer. Just make a larger batch of rice in advance and keep it on hand for quick weeknight dinners. That way, you still get the speed without sacrificing the comfort.

For me, this dish is all about creating that “takeaway at home” feeling without the guilt or the wait. It looks like it could have come from your favorite Asian-inspired restaurant, yet it’s ready faster than delivery. Perfect for busy weeknights, family dinners, or even an impressive but low-effort meal for two.

Once you try it, I’m confident it’ll become one of those recipes you keep on repeat-because six ingredients and ten minutes really do say it all.
