Spicy Potato Wedges

These are so delicious and healthier than fried chips, Make sure that you make plenty as everyone will want a second serving.

Ingredients

  • 4 large white potatoes
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • tsp smoked paprika
  • sea salt
  • cracked black pepper
  • olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 220ºc.
  • Cut the potatoes into wedges then soak them in iced water for around 30 minutes. This removes some of the starch and results in a super crispy potato wedge.

  • Drain and dry thoroughly.
  • Place the wedges in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil (a couple of tablespoons) then add in the paprika and onion powder and season with salt and pepper.

  • Lay out on a large baking sheet and place in the oven for around 40-45 minutes until golden and tender.
