Dark chocolate Bounty Bites
Love a bounty bar? Well these delicious dark chocolate bounty bites are a whole new level of deliciousness!
Equipment
- Two 12-cup nonstick muffin pans
Ingredients
- 250 g dark chocolate Chopped
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 ⅕ cups of shredded sweetened coconut
- 3 tbsp corn syrup
- ¾ cup powdered sugar

Instructions
- In a heatproof bowl set over simmering water, melt the chocolate then set aside to cool a little
- In a separate bowl, beat together the butter, coconut, powdered sugar and corn syrup until well mixed
- Drop teaspoons of the melted chocolate into the moulds then using a clean paintbrush, paint the chocolate to coat all the surface of the mould
- Repeat until all moulds are coated in the chocolate then place in the fridge to set
- Once set, drop a teaspoon of the coconut mixture into each mould and press down to provide a flat surfaceDrop another teaspoon of the melted chocolate on top of the coconut mixture and brush to cover the whole surface
- Once all have been covered in the chocolate, place back in the fridge once more to set
- Once fully set, turn out onto a platter and using the paint-brush and melted chocolate, dab a little melted chcolate onto the top of each chocolate and top with a candy (I used hearts wich look super cute)
- These will keep in the fridge for up to two weeks (but you do know that they will not last that long!!)
Notes
I used a rubber mould with small semi-circles to make these but you can just use mini muffin cases or chocolate moulds, whatever you have.
