Spicy Potato Wedges
These are so delicious and healthier than fried chips, Make sure that you make plenty as everyone will want a second serving.
Ingredients
- 4 large white potatoes
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1½ tsp smoked paprika
- sea salt
- cracked black pepper
- olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 220ºc.
- Cut the potatoes into wedges then soak them in iced water for around 30 minutes. This removes some of the starch and results in a super crispy potato wedge.
- Drain and dry thoroughly.
- Place the wedges in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil (a couple of tablespoons) then add in the paprika and onion powder and season with salt and pepper.
- Lay out on a large baking sheet and place in the oven for around 40-45 minutes until golden and tender.
