Not everyone’s a fan of Brussels sprouts, but this recipe has a way of winning people over. Roasted until crisp and golden, then tossed with salty Parmesan, they’re everything a great side dish should be – simple, flavorful, and totally irresistible. Perfect for a Sunday roast or any weeknight dinner.
Parmesan Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients
- 2 lbs of trimmed and halved Brussels sprouts 900g
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese 90g
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400ºF / 200ºC degrees and line a baking sheet with foil.
- Toss the sprouts in olive oil and season with the salt and pepper. Spread into an even layer on the baking sheet.
- Roast until golden and tender, around 35 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and transfer to a serving platter. Sprinkle over the cheese and finish off with a little more cracked black pepper.
