Asparagus Wrapped in Prosciutto
Its simplicity of preparation makes asparagus wrapped in prosciutto a great idea to highlight a family dinner or to impress someone special. It is also the perfect starter for an Italian feast.
- 1 bunch asparagus spears
- 1 packet prosciutto
- olive oil
- Black pepper to season
- Wrap a slice of prosciutto around each asparagus spear.
- Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large frying pan, or you can use a baling tray and set it to the oven for 20 minutes.
- Place the wrapped asparagus into the pan. Season with cracked black pepper.
- Cook for a few minutes until the prosciutto is crispy and the asparagus tender, turning once.
